BEHIND THE MUSIC OF ALICIA RODRIGUEZ

Alicia Rodriguez has always loved to sing  and dreamt of being on stage. From a young age, she was singing, performing, and playing in bands, orchestras, choirs and developing a love for musical theater and Latin music and exploring new sounds. Now she's passionate about developing her musical skills, and spreading music and uniting people in art.

She attended Bard College and majored in Jazz Vocal Performance. During her time there, training under the amazing Pamela Pentony, she performed countless times, during open mics, class performances, galas and more. She was also a member of a band and cooperative called the Jazz Kittens, now called Mellophone, they performed for many occasions and even released original music.
